Sonoreactor 200 watts Sonoreactor, 200 watts, for indirect sonication 24kHz The sonoreactor UTR200 is suitable for the direct or indirect sonication of liquids (homogenizing, dispersing, breaking-down of cells etc.) as well as for sieving and spraying. Its characteristics in terms of quality are the same as those of the other Dr. Hielscher ultrasonic processors. In the case of the sonoreactor, however, the ultrasound is not transmitted into the liquid via the butt end of a tip-sonotrode but via the oscillating bottom of a compact chamber. With an amplitude of 80 µm an ultrasonic intensity of 80 W/cm2 is reached. This is 50 times higher than the ultrasonic intensity of common ultrasound baths. Since the vessel is manufactured from one piece, there are no leakage problems. Covers, cylinders or other kind of equipment, both from our standard product line or designed as a special customized solution, can be screwed onto the oscillation-free sidewalls of the bath.
